The name is not "viking".
It does not mean 'gloryland' in "the old viking language".
(In fact, it does not mean anything at all.)
It was not used in Sweden, nor elswhere in Scandinavia, before the 1700:s.
In the viking age (i. e. 800 - 1050) people did not use polygenerational lastnames.
The scandinavian (mostly swedish) use of the name is entirely independent from the french and spanish use of it.
