Ancestors of Paul and Wilhemia Landry, New Iberia or St Charles Parish, LA
My paternal grandfather, Paul Landry, was born in 1888 in Louisiana either in the New Iberia area or in St Charles Parish area I believe. He listed in the 1930 census in St Charles Parish that both his parents were born in Louisiana and he married a Willie or Wilhemina who was born in 1893 in Mississippi, with both her parents born in Mississippi. Their children were Jean, Margaret, Paul, William Burton Landry (my father) and Albert who I believe still resides in New Iberia, La. Margaret was married to a judge. All children were born in Louisiana.
I did not know my father, William Burton Landry, hardly at all as he and my mother were estranged before I was born. He married Victoria Moussa, had 4 children with her and later married Winnie from Norway and had 2 sons with her.
While I know about my mothers family history I would like to know more about my fathers ancestry. Please help if you can. Thanks!
