Hi Frank: Thank you for your response. From Karen Farmer's website I am aware of the possibility of Christopher Langille/Nancy Corbett as parents of my Susan. Another possibility is Edward Langille/Susan McBurnie. They are of the right age and had a daughter Susan (of unknown birthdate). Unfortunately I have no more relevant information except that, according to the 1861 census a Christopher Langille was a close neighbour of Stewart and Susan Burns in River John. Stewart and Susan's firstborn, William Fletcher Burns, was born in 1848 (he was a dentist in River John in 1871) so presumably Stewart and Susan were married about 1847, the year that his parents moved to River John. They were Methodists. Would appreciate hearing from you again if you have (or have not) anything to add. Regards, David.
