You make mention, in a previous forum message that Jean Nicolas Lanteigne and Marie Giraud had three sons - Louis, Michel, and Julien - all of whom emigrated to Canada about 1850.Might that possible be 1750?
My reason for asking is that my descendant, Louis Lanteigne, married Marie Marguerite Chapadeau (d/o Jean Chapadeau and Catherine Larocque) about 1755.
I further descend from 3 children born to Louis and Marie Marguerite:
* Thérèse who married Jean Baptiste Albert * Jean (born about 1769) who married Marie Parisé, d/o Michel Parisé and Marie Albert, on October 17, 1791 * Julien (born about 1780) who married Thérèse Paulin, d/o Jean Baptiste Paulin and Thérèse Canivet, on November 21, 1809.
Interestingly enough ......
Marie Albert was the d/o Gabriel Albert and Geneviève Bouthillier.Geneviève was the d/o Joseph Bouthillier and Angélique Giraud dit St-Jean.Angélique was the d/o Gabriel Giraud dit St-Jean and a Mi' kmaq woman.
Thérèse Canivet was the d/o Jean Canivet and Agnès (called Anne) Bouthillier.Anne was the d/o Joseph Bouthillier and Angélique Giraud dit St-Jean.Angélique was the d/o Gabriel Giraud dit St-Jean and a Mi' kmaq woman.
