I'm researching the Lape family for a friend of mine and I've found that your Mary is a sister of my friend's great-grandfather Alexander Lape.Alexander married Lucy Akin and had 4 children.Isabella, Alton (who died at age 18), Ida, and my friend's grandfather, Henry. They lived in Canaan, NY.
We would be very interested in any information you can give us on the children of Andrew and Melicent Lape.
