Johann Peter Sommer (also known as Peter Sommer) married Christiane Lapp on May 30, 1825 in Budingen, Germany. Christiane Lapp was born on April 17, 1804 in Wennings, Oberhessen, Germany and was a sister to Anna Marie Lapp (wife of Carl August Sommer). Christiane and Anna Marie were the daughters of Johannes and Anna Marie (Seible) Lapp. Johannes Lapp died November 25, 1818 in Wennings, Germany. Anna Marie (Seible) Lapp died February 26, 1825 in Wennings, Germany of "breast pain". A third daughter of Johannes and Anna Marie Lapp married a man by the last name of Kamilka. Possibly a doctor, and/or first name of Karl. He is listed as a witness to the marriage of Johann Peter Sommer and Christiane Lapp. Mr. Kamilka is stated as, "brother-in-law to the bride". The other witness was Carl August Sommer, "cousin of the bridegroom". Johannes Lapp was the son of Johannes and Anna Margaretha (Anton) Lapp. Anna Marie (Seible) Lapp was the daughter of Johann Heinrich and Anna Marie (Wollens) Seible. On Johann Peter and Christiane Lapp's second son's (Carl L. Sommer) birth record, it states the godfather as being Carl Lapp. I do not know what his relationship to this Lapp family is. On Anna Marie (Seible) Lapps death record, it states that she was buried in the presence of Christian Heinrich Lapp and Christian Rieck. I do not know what their relationship to this Lapp family is either. This is all I have on the Lapp family. Does anyone have any connections?
