Funeral services for Herman Holland Cude, 84, of Bremond will be held at Blair Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin Thursday, March 9, 1989, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. W. A. Easterling officiating.Interment will be in the Boring Cemetery at Ridge, Texas.Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Knowls, Jeff Fuller, Rod cude, Larry Boring, Arlee Boring and O. W. Boswell.Mr Cude passed away at his home in Bremond March 5th.He was born July 6, 1904, in Easterly and was the son of the late George and Delitha Lard Cude.He was married to the former Marcella Albrecht.He was a member of the Chruch of Christ and resided in Bremond the past 15 years.Survivors include his wife, Marcella Cude of Bremond; three daughters, Donna M. LaPage of Houston, Katherine Miller of Hearne and Margie Knowls of the island of Guam; three sons, Elza Cude of Pasadena, Roy Cude of Houston and Wayne Cude of Hearne; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

- FRANKLIN - Graveside services for Marcella Cude, 74, of Bremond are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Petteway Cemetery in Robertson County.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.Mrs. Cude died Saturday in Temple.She was born in De Smith, S.D., and lived in Bremond 30 years. She was a homemaker and formerly lived in Mart, Texas. She was a Baptist.She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman H. Cude.Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and Sam Knowles of Franklin and Katherine and Jim Miller of Hearne; a son, Wayne Cude of Bremond; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
If you have a copy of Delitha's married to Ephraim Martin, I would like to have a copy of that.And I have more info on these Cudes and Martins.Both of these families descend from a common ancestor.
