Sorry, I saw that there were some mispellings here and here is a the website.
Hello, I read two news paper articles recently where people have had DNA tests done and found out that they were part white and one even found out that she was part native American even though she said that she came from Italy. Also you can find out what part of Europe the Larricks came from which W. Donald Larrick says John and Casper Larrick came from Germany and he says that most thought they came from France. Now you can see if Casper and John were actually brothers by the DNA Test on ancestors from both and seeing what part of Europe. From an article dated April 17, 2006: Family Tree DNA, owned by Genealogy by Genetics, Ltd. of Houston and Ancestry DNA, owned by DNA Print Genomics Inc. owned by DNA Print Genomics Inc. of Sarasota, Fla. He was black and found out it was true that he had white ancestor.
The other July 25, 2006 The DNA Print Genomics AncestyrbyDNA test will tell you which parentages your genes carry of Sub-Saharan African, European, Native American and East Asian ancestry. But you may be surprised by what shows up, or doesn't
Lou Charlton, DNA Print Genomics spokeswoman, says DNA combines randomly during conception to give a child unique genes. Just as you might not get the blue eyes common in your family, you also might not inherit those genes that would tie you to a Native American great grandmother. Thus, your DNA test might say zero percent Native American. Thus, your DNA test might say zero present Native American. That result, however, could also potentially indicate your great-grandparent was not a biological ancestor.
Often, what shows up is surprising, too. Charlton said that while her family hails from southern Italy, her test came back 10 percent Native American. It may have been due to ancient migration patterns of people from Central Asia; some migrated to the Americas becoming what we today call Native Americans. Others carried the same genes to Europe. A follow-up EuroDNA test can further break down European ancestry into northern European, Southeastern European, Middle Eastern and south Asian ancestry.
What does it cost? The AncestrybyDNA test costs $219; both tests together cost $3.99 Visit www.dnaprint.com Do other companies offer testing?
