Dianna, I may be able to help you get the information you are looking for.I did a search to see if your grandfather was listed in the online birth index for Langlade County.I found his name and also where he is listed in the records. He is listed in volume 26, page 501.
You can go to the following website to print out a request for a copy of his birth certificate:www.co.langlade.wi.us/registerofdeeds.htm
Once you print that out and fill it out, you can mail it to the courthouse in Antigo.Although there is no space for listing the volum and page, I would include that with the application. That way the charge may not be as much as what is listed on the application.
I am curious about your family, as my husband's mother was a Larzelere. Her grandfather was Charles Henry Larzelere. You can check some of my other posts on this forum about what I know about this family.
I have quite a bit of information about the Larzelere family history, way back to the ancestor who was born in France, and died in Staten Island, NY.
Since your grandfather died in White Lake, I may be able to get more information for you.My husband's family on his father's side (Shannons) still have quite a few family members in the area. They might have known your grandfather. Please post a message is you are interested in more information.Hope to hear from you soon.
