This is part of a very old Bible published here in the United States in 1801 by Isaiah Thomas in Worcester, Massachusetts. This is very worn as befits its age-this appears to have been rebound as the 'Lathrop Family Bible' in the later 1800s, but has fallen apart since that time-additionally when rebound it was missing the Old Testament up to Chapter II of Leviticus, and ended at Mark IV.This does include a complete Apocrypha section. Of primary interest however is a Family Tree of the Lathrop Family dating back to the marriage of James Lathrop and Parthenia Bliss in 1790. They continue with some detail through 1823 with a few deaths in New Orleans-likely the location of this family. Things get pretty sketchy at this point ending in Belmont, California with the death of Elizabeth Lathrop Reed in 1904. This measures 5 1/2 by 9 in.
