The parents of Warren van Lee Latshaw were John Nelson Latshaw and Delilah Jane "Jennie" George.
They had eight children in all (source: 1900 and 1910 Censuses, both of which mention that Jennie had 8 children, 6 living).
In the 1870 Census, "Nelson" and "Jane" Latshaw were in Venango Co., Pa., with their daughter Laura.Enumerated right after them were John Nelson's parents, John and Elizabeth Latshaw.
In 1880, "J. Nelson" and "Jennie" Latshaw are in Fairview Township, Butler Co., Pa. with children Annie L. age 10 (probably the same person as Laura above), Maurice age 6, and John age 3. Also with the household is "Saidie" George, identified as Nelson Latshaw's sister-in-law.
By 1900, the family had moved to Harrison Co., West Virginia. Listed with the household in 1900 are John, Edgar and "Lee", whose birth year is stated as 1889 (though both his World War I draft card and his Texas death certificate state 1892).
It appears as if John Nelson died between 1900 and 1910, as Jennie is in the 1910 Census as the widowed head of household, still in Harrison Co., WV, with Edgar.
In 1920, Jennie was living in Butler Co., Kansas with the family of her son Nelson E. (Nelson Edgar).
In 1930, Jennie was in Abilene, Taylor Co., Texas, living with the family of Warren van Lee Latshaw.
