No, the name of Charles Ladshaw of N.C. was
not misspelled (from Latshaw).Charles,
b.July 5, 1866, Niagara Falls, Canada, m.
Rebecca Wheeler, d. July, 1933, was the son
of Edward Latshaw, who, when he moved from
Niagara Falls to South Carolina, deliberately
changed his name to Ladshaw, as Dennis Gannon
stated in his original message.Charles
lived in Marion, N.C. and was the youngest
brother of my grandfather, George Edward
Ladshaw, hydraulic engineer of Spartanburg,
S.C.
