DEATH SUMMONS MRS. W. E. LAUNDER
Mrs. Clara D. Launder, 66, wife of William E. Launder, died early Wednesday at her home, 1033 Eastman street, following an illness of ten weeks. She was a member of Central M. E. church and was a teacher of Margaret Williams class of the Sunday school. She also was a member of the Home and Foreign Missionary societies, the Lady's society and Willard W. C. T. U.
Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Hugh W. Hankinson, and two grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Emma Ayers and Mrs. S. M. Marling, this city, and one brother William E. Lewis, Detroit.
The body is at the Hearing undertaking parlors but will be removed to the late home Thursday morning.

FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT NORWICH
William E. Launder, 79, grandson of Norwich's first mayor, James Launder, Sr., and Mary Hope Launder, pioneer resident of Norwich, died last night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Hankinson, Norwich postmaster.
Mr. Launder came to Zanesville in 1892, and for 25 years was employed as a painter with the Brown Manufacturing Co., later being associated with the Muskingum Coffin Co. until his retirement. He was married to Clara D. Lewis on November 12, 1896. She preceeded him in death in 1932.
Besides the daughter at whose home he died, he is survived by two gransons, Marshall and Eugene, both of Norwich, and three great-grandsons.
The body will be returned to the daughter's home Wednesday evening from the Mock funeral home at New Concord.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Norwich Methodist Church, with REv. W.E. Peters officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, this city.
