Hi Teri I 've read over your posting a number of times and many of the names in your line match those in mine but the dates dont fit. I was wondering if you had more specific information on the church locations whether people where christened or married as I cant link them into others in the db. Did they live in Liverpool and have you tried the various census look-ups? What about the marriages - these can help people fit in the missing links.
I have created a Db of about 2000 Lawrensons to help sort out the information but there is still lots of info missing.
My lineage looks like this F Stanley B1909 Halewood, GF George B 1874 Married Margaret Hilton, Siblings Jim (James)B 1881, Thomas B 1876, Fanny B 1880, William B 1885 GGF, John 1876 and poss. Arthur later. Georges F is William b 1852 who had 3 wives Catherine, Jane and Julia. His siblings are Thomas B 1846, Jane B 1862, Martha 1859, JamesB 1857 and George B 1854.Most of these are in Halewood as the church was built there in about 1838.
William's father was George B 1822 or 1824 and his spouse was Margaret Leverock. Married Huyton 1842. His siblings are Mary and William B 1822. Perhaps Henry Precot 1828.
After this it gets are difficult and is speculation in some cases but I believe his farther was John B 1800 who married Margaret Parkinson in 1822. Siblings are Mary B 1808, Mary B 1806, Elizabeth B 1802 and Hannah.
Their parents were Thomas B 1772 West Derby and Mary Vernon and siblings are James B 1770, William 1773, Margaret B 1775, Jane B 1778 and George B 1767. Their parents are believed to be George B 1744 and Ellen (Possibly Mary Ellen Ashton) and the parents where George B abt 1715 and Margaret Birchall.Thats where I am at right now.
I'd be interested to receive any information that would support or alter any of the above especially if it confirmed links between our families. Thanks
