The missing sisters-->Canada?
At this point, I will welcome any theory as to what happened to the 3 missing daughter of John Learn b.1730 and his wife Cadarina. Mary B., Rachel, and Sarah (but especially Sarah b. 1768 some say 1769) Did they come to Canada with brother Peter B. Learn? If Peter B. Learn was involved in an "Underground Railroad" that helped Loyalists escape to Canada, who wasinvolved with him? Were the LEARNS Quakers or Mennonites or Lutheren?
Did the LEARNS and the ZAVITZ come to Canada together? In 1788?
You don't even have to have an oz. of proof to respond to this, I am opened to anything that will help me prove Sarah LEARN married John LAUR and lived in BERTIE TWP. UPPER CANADA, near sister Catherine LEARN ZAVITZ and brother Peter B. LEARN and Jane SCHOOLEY.
My Sarah LAUR died Aug 5 1859, at 89 years, 10 months and 14 days of age.Many subsequent connections between LAUR family and LEARN family and Catherine LEARN ZAVITZ family.
Thanks for anything, thought or otherwise on this one.
Pam
