Wilma, there were two un-related groups of Leas who migrated to Indiana in the early-middle 1800's. Harriet Francisco Leas was indeed Henry's wife. They settled in southern IN, in Owen County. The Harriet who made the report to the book was her daughter. The younger Harriet died 1944.As far as I know, no-one has established a connection between the Northern Indiana Leas clan and the Southern Indiana Leas'. I have Nancy Williams' Psalm book in which she made entries as her children were born. "Lafayette" does not appear. Some of the birthdates entered by Nancy are in slight variance from those listed in LEAS GENEALOGY.
