I received a card in the mail from Art Marshall today letting me know that Thelma passed away 2 April 2003.She was the author of the book "Descendants of Abraham LeSueur, the Huguenot:Lasher-Lasure-Lesure-Lazear-Leasure-Leisure-LeSueur and Allied Families of North America".

"Great Falls, MT, Tribune, Friday April 4, 2003:Thelma Louise Marshall.
Thelma Louise (Leasure) Marshall, 81, of 4705 Carol Drive, ahomemaker and genealogist, died of natural causes Wednesday, at a local nursing home.
At her request, no services are planned.Cremation has taken place under the direction of O'Connor Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur P. Marshall, Jr., of Great Falls; a sister, Lenore Vielbig of Weatherby, MO; and a brother, John A. Leasure of Dearborn, MO.
Thelma was born July 9, 1921, in Clay County, MO, and graduated from high school in Kansas City, MO.
She married Arthur P. Marshall, Jr., in Kansas City, in 1954.They lived in Great Falls in the 1960s and returned here to live in 1974.
She donated many hours to Air Force family service programs at various Air Force bases, was a member of Black Eagle Assiniboine Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, where she served as regent from 1989 to 1992, and was a member of the Daughters of American Colonists.
She was co-founder of the Great Falls Genealogical Society, had worked on the Leasure family genealogy for more than 30 years and published a book on this genealogy."
