Sorry I didn't reply sooner.Genealogy.com never notified me of your reply.
As for purchasing a copy of Thelma's book.Sorry.It was printed in 1991 and immediately out of print.I think she only had copies printed that she had orders for.
I went to my public library and typed the book (all but 200 pages). They borrowed it for me again and again, and I had to use it in-house.Then, I came home and entered it into FTM.Those last 200 pages, I paid for photo copying because my fingers were tired of typing (the book has over 735 pages)!
Since then, I've added all my own research, plus those of other people generous enough to share their own research.I've been careful in giving credit to each person that shares their information.I have a copy of Gloria's CD, and I would not recommend it to anyone. There are so many errors on it--not only in my family, but in other families that have contacted me.And, when I enter a person's info, I like to email a copy back to them to check for any errors, typos, etc.
The book will probably be in two bound volumes (not a CD) and it will not be posted on the web by either Bob Lasher or myself.
I understand where your husband is coming from in paying for another book.By the same token, Thelma's book had slightly over 5,000 entries; I currently have over 15,500, with many, many more to go.I have not merged anyone's info, but enter it bit by bit. This information will not be copyrighted. We want to make as much information about our family available as possible for all future generations.
Obviously, I am unable to research all the descendants of Abraham LeSueur during my lifetime--I would have to be researching 24/7!!! If you are willing to share YOUR information, it will be most appreciated. You can email me directly at email@example.com
