I am the second son of Carl Leasure who was Mae Bells cousin. His father was Samuel Irwin Leasure. I can not answer the 1930 Census question but can maybe head you in the right direction. You may want to try Beaver County as Ed and Mae lived in Enon Valley for many years. My parents used to tell me about how they took walks on the weekend to visit Ed and Mae walking from the west side of New Castle to Enon Valley. (A long walk!!) I think Mom Nad Dad may have done this when they were courting as well because my dad did not have a car. They were all friends at the time. This was in the very early '30's as my parents were married in 1931, so it is possible that Beaver County is where you want to look, not Lawrence County.
My Mom and Dad took me out to visit Ed and Mae about 1960 I would guess. We drove, not walked! They had a small farm in Enon that I think (?) they had for many years until they died.
Also Jameson Memorial Hospital is in New Castle, Lawrence County.
I went to high school with Robert Sumner Junior. We graduated from Union High in 1963. He had a younger sister, and I do believe her name was Gloria also, but it was a long time ago....
