I have almost completed research that I have been doing on tracing all of the descendants of Jacob Leber, who arrived in america in 1749 and settled in York Co., PA. My research has tended to go through about 1930 or so when there are census and public records readily available, and I have a fairly complete record of Jacob Leber's descendants through about 7 or 8 generations, with afew lines into 9 and 10 generations where I have had people provide information on their families.
I have several thousand names in my database, covering many surnames, some of the predominant ones are listed here: Leber, Paules, Keller, Dritt, Kopp, Forry, Emenheiser, Kline, Leiphart, Dietz, Spyker, Frey, Stein, Dosch, Myers, Holtzapple, Martin, Erney, Beck, Fauth, Holtzinger, Thomas, Leinert, Stambaugh, Neiman, Albright, Sultzbach, Kneisley, Zercher, Hauenstein, Zerphey
I am hoping to have a nicely formatted book put together later this summer and am thinking of having it printed and bound, but am just now looking into the cost for doing that to see if I could swing it.
I am putting this notice out to see if there is any interest from other descendants in getting a copy if I did have it printed.
I would also be interested in getting additional information on the descendants of Jacob to include in this compilation and will share what I have. I am hoping to include some interesting information (beyond vital stats) on as many families as I can and would love to have your contributions.
Please contact me directly if you would like to share information. - Doug Leber
