I am tracing the lineage of my great-grandmother [Julie M. Lebrun] and hope that someone can help me identify and verify an Indian heritage connection. It is alleged that my grandmother, Julie M. Lebrun died in an insane asylum in Montreal after the birth of her last child about 1885/1886. Can anybody help me to verify this information?
My line is from one generation to the next (child to parent):
Julie M. Lebrun & Alexandre Palardy (m. September 20, 1870 St. Michel D'Yamaska, Canada). Her parents are:
Pierre Lebrun-Sicard and Julie Boisseau (m. October 16, 1832, Vercheres). His parents are:
Antoine Lebrun-Sicard & Madeleine Courtemanche (m. October 27, 1806, St. Antoine (Sur-Richelieu). His parents are:
Jacques Sicard & Marie Tessier (m. June 13, 1766, St. Antoine De Chambly, Chambly, Quebec (Sur-Richelieu). His parents are:
Antoine Sicard & Madeleine Abel dit Barbe (m. December 01, 1736, Riviere-Des-Prairies, Ile De Montreal, Quebec). His parents are:
Jean-Baptiste Sicard-De-Carufel & Elizabeth (Isabelle) LeGardeur (m.#1 -- 1719, Riviere-Des-Prairies, Ile De Montreal, Quebec). (m.#2 ---- Abt. 1727 to Angelique Baron- Lupien). His parents are:
Jean Sicard, Sieur de Carufel & Catherine Lauzon (m. February 10, 1681, Montreal, Ile De Montreal, Canada)
Please, will someone with a Duruan or Jette book verify my ancestors? Are any of you related to me?
