I attended a church homecoming at Tabernacle Baptist Church in the Kitchens Mill Community of Aiken Co, SC - this past weekend. Reverend Hiram L. LeCroy was the pastor there from 1858-1869. He is the longest attending pastor of the church and preached the first sermon in the new building (current church structure) - his text was Romans 8:15.
Behind the altar is a rear addition which houses the nursery and Sunday School rooms - the hallway connecting them has an old picture/portrait hanging of Hiram LeCroy - which remained a mystery until my father-in-law brought an old picture he had of Hiram which lead the church leaders to conclude that the mystery portrait hanging was of Hiram LeCroy. My father-in-law is James Bronson LeCroy Sr. and Hiram LeCroy is my father-in-law's Great Grandfather and my husband is Hiram's Great Grandson - James Bronson LeCroy Jr.
Six miles down the road from Tabernacle is Dean Swamp Baptist Church located in Springfield, SC. This is another baptist church Hiram preached at and the Dean Swamp Baptist Cemetary is where Hiram is buried.
The cemetary houses many LeCroy's and offspring. My husband wrote down the names and dates on LeCroy graves and I have transcribed them in Descending order according to dates and to information my father-in-law was able to provide:

This should provide information on a few of Hiram's children and where they are buried. I asked my husband where the other children are buried and he said in a cemetary in Denmark, SC. My father-in-law mentioned that Hiram had 10 children total, but I have seen no information regarding the number of children and cannot verify.
