'A Lucas County Pioneer Is Gone'
"To this union were born eight children, seven of whom are still living. Their names are as follows: C.J. and A.L. and EMMA DILLMAN of Lucas County; REBECCA HARDY of Wyoming; N.F. and S.S. of Manor, Washington; M.M. of Portland, Oregon. GEORGE W. was killed by a horse in 1883. His wife preceded him to the better land June 2, 1888."
My conclusion: C.J. could be Jasper. A. L. could be Arthur. Emma Dillman could be Emma md George Dillman. Rebecca Hardy could be Becky md Simon Harvey(sic my records). S. S. could be Stanton M. M. could be Milton GEORGE W. was killed by a horse in 1883 I do not have him in my records
Does this balance with your records?
I have a photo album with many of the Cain family and a number of them were living in Iowa but not named.
