I am looking for the parentage of this couple Fidele Gallant and his wife Elise Leger. I am not certain of where they were born, I believe it may have been P.E.I. Canada. Any help is appreciated.

Born in Canada on Jan. 28, 1919.
Called by God on Mar. 12, 2011 and resided in Gardner, MA.
Expedit Gallant, 92, of Gardner passed away Saturday evening, March 12, 2011 in Heywood Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Expedit was born in Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Canada January 28, 1919, a son of the late Fidele and Elise (Leger) Gallant, and moved to the United States when he was very young. His beloved wife of 66 years, Leona (Allain)
Gallant died in 2006.
Expedit proudly served with the United States Army during WWII. He retired from Simplex Time Recorder company where he worked for 35 years. Expedit was a long time communicant of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Gardner. He enjoyed watching sports, doing puzzles, and most of all spending time with his family.
Expedit will be sadly missed by 3 sons; Melvin Gallant and his wife Patricia of Gardner, Paul Gallant and his wife Dolores of Gardner, and Andrew Gallant and his wife Linda of Templeton, 3 daughters; Leonette Lison and her husband Gene of Springvale, ME, Lola Meskauskas and her husband Daniel of East Templeton, and Lisa Smith and her husband Michael of Gardner, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Expedit was predeceased by one son Wesley Gallant, 6 brothers, and one sister.
Relatives and Friends are planning to honor and celebrate Expedit's life by gathering for calling hours in the Community Chapel of Lamoureux Fletcher and Smith Funeral Home, 105 Central St. Gardner, on Tuesday March 15, 2011 from 6-8PM. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2011 beginning from the funeral home at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass which will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church 135 Nichols Street. Gardner at 10AM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, West St., Gardner is pending.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Alcide E. Gallant, 85, of Myrtle Beach died recently in Myrtle Beach.
Born in Gardner on July 20, 1924, he was the son of Fidele and Elsie (Leger) Gallant. He was the first of eight sons born in the United States.
During his lifetime, Mr. Gallant worked for the Railway Express Agency at the Athol Train Depot, was part owner with his brother, Cyrus Gallant, of the former Parker Street Cafe in Gardner and was a bookkeeper at the Athol Manufacturing Company.
He was a United States WWII Navy Veteran, and saw action in the American Theater and Asiatic Theater, including Marshall Island, Guadalcanal, New Guinea, Russell Islands and Leyte (Lingayen Gulf). He received the American Area Ribbon, the Asiatic-Pacific Area Ribbon with four battle stars, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with two stars, the Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Ribbon.
Mr. Gallant was a 1943 graduate of Gardner High School. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. He was a Charter member of the VFW Post 905 of Gardner. He founded and served numerous terms as Commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #46 of Athol. He was former president of the United Steel Workers Union, Local 4700. He was president of the John F. Kennedy Campaign Committee, posed for photos with JFK during the campaign and received personal letters and Christmas greetings from John and Jackie Kennedy.
He was an avid supporter of local Humane Societies. He enjoyed attending Navy Ship Reunions. He especially enjoyed fishing and loved being with his family. Alcide built his first house in 1962.
His former wife, Irene Mailloux Gallant, predeceased him. He leaves a daughter, Lana Alliott of Port Orange, Fla., and a son, Dennis Gallant of Athol, one brother, Expedit Gallant of Gardner, four grandchildren - Lisa Alliott of Port Orange, Fla., Chris Gallant, Dennis Gallant, and Bobbie Gallant, as well as great-grandchildren Felicia Green of Port Orange, Denton Green of Orange, Zach, Olivia, and Grey, He
