Yes, this is my wife's family. My records are SLIGHTLY different though.(My info is thanks to the Hewitt-Matheny-Cooper Family Association, i.e. Helen Lehnert married Elmer Hewitt.Helen is my wife's g-grandmother and my son's gg-grandmother.I did meet Helen before she died.)
I have Charles George Lehnert, 1861-1908, married Katherine Elizabeth Brislin, 1862-1923, in Monticello, Illinois in 1887.Charles was born in Kissel, Germany and died in Minto, ND.Katherine was born in Nimberg, Germany and died in Corvallis, OR.(My wife and I are both from Corvallis, OR.)
I have more details about these two, like specific days they were born and died, cause of death, immigration, etc.I also have info about Katherine Brislin's parents, George Brislin and Catherine Bealer.(Note that the spelling variations of Katherine with a "K" vs. a "C" is likely attributed to German vs. American spellings?)So if you're interested in these things, just let me know.
Helen Lehnert, 1900-1990, was born in Minto, ND and died in Albany, OR.Elmer Evert Hewitt, 1893-1970, was born in Unionvale, OR and died in Albany, OR.I have a lot of info about the Hewitt family if needed. Also, Katherine's granddaughter Elinor (Hewitt) Denton still lives in Corvallis, OR and we see her frequently; perhaps additional Lehnert history can be obtained from her.
