Obituary of Wilbur John Leib The Novemer 16, 1933 issue of the Cape May Star & Wave, Cape May, NJ, had the following obituary:
Dr. Wilbur J. Leib
"Dr. Wilbur J. Leib, 55, a patient at the Atlantic Shore Hospital in Somers Point, N. J. for the past two weeks, died there on Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be held from the late residence, corner of Broadway and West Perry Street, Saturday morning at 9:30 AM, with the Rev. Curtis G. Bosserman, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment under the direction of Earl Hollingsead, will follow in the Harleigh Cemetery in Camden, N. J. The deceased, who had conducted a drugstore at Broadway and West Perry Street, for the past number of years, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Leib and his father, of York, Pa. He was a memberof the M. B. Taylor Lodge, F. and A. M. No 141, Hammonton, N. J.
NOTE: Wilbur John Leibs' wifes' name was Anna, not Emma, as stated in the obituary.
NOTE:The building on Broadway is still there. In the 1950s it was an ice cream store and is now an Italian restaurant (The Godmother's).
