On p. 21 of Alvin Headlee's book on the Lemley Family (sorry, (I only have isolated pages)....this is page 21... John Lemley Sr. married Barbara Livengood. His number is "I1" (eye-one) and the marriage probably going on to children's numbers are "J1-J11".Since I'm not descended from them, I didn't get that grouping.
John Lemley Sr. (who m. Barbara Livengood) was the son of George Lemley (b. 1741; died 6/11/1813) and Catharine Yoho (b. bef. 1745; died 11/5/1825).....according to Headlee.

There is another book:"The Tenmile Country and Its Pioneer Families," by. Howard L. Leckey, 1977 (GreenCounty Historical society, Waynesburg, Penn.) that states the following: (Page 430) ...Pioneer George Lemley, trad. says b. Germany about 1741...twice married; wife #2 was Catharine Yoho; settled on a branch of Whiteley Creek near theFranklinTwp. line, in Greene County Penn. He died in Green co. on 6/1/1813 and his estate was probated 6/29/1813. They had 11 children.Child #1 is yours. (1) John Lemley (b. 1764[?] died 1840. His wife was Barbara Livengood, daughter of Peter Livengood,Sr.They had children, as follows: --1--George Lemley, b. 1786; died 1862; mar. Christena Shriver, rem. to Monogalia Co., W. Va. --2--John Lemley, mar. Barbara Bradford, dau. of James Bradford. They were marr. on Apr 3, 1827. --3--Jacob Lemley, mar. Sarah White, dau. of Israel & Sarah Slater White. --4--Sarah Lemley, b. 1789; died. 1873; mar. William Miller, and resided in Wetzel Co., W. Va. --5--(--) Lemley, marr.
