I would be interested. I am only guessing that the name of my ggrandfather actually is Lenczyk.
Frank Lynch b. @1860, son of Baron and Agnes "nee" Alec/Alex Lynch.
The only person I can find in immigration records that comes close is a Frank Lenczyk in 1890 on the "City of Berlin" ship from Poland. 1890 is the date Frank gives as his arrival in United States. On his marriage license in 1894 he gives his father and mothers name and country of origin as Poland. Frank first lived in Gilberton, Pennsylvania, then in 1894 he ends up in Jackson County, Illinois. He was a coal miner. Frank married Laura Stephens in 1894 and had two sons. Charles b.1898 and Amos b. 1902 Frank died in 1948.
I really don't how to go about researching in Poland for finding out the name of the town Frank came from.
