You probably have this but I found in "Barbados Records, Marriages 1643-1800,Vol I, JoAnne Sanders,p.124:
31JAN1716 John Lenoir Esq Dep: Seccry: of this island & Mrs. Martha Cragg, spinster.
Barbados Baptisal records; St. Micheal's Parish:
24NOV1717: Robert: son of John Lenoir Esq Depty: Sery: of ye island & Mrs. Martha his wife, b 20th instant.
So John Lenoir had a son,Robert, approx 10 years before his death. To me this suggests either a second marriage or perhaps he died at a very young age by 1727.
Barbados Baptismal records: St. Michael's Parish 02NOV1728: Demaris, daughter of Mr. Henry and Mrs Elizabeth Carter. ....Mrs. Martha Lenoir, godmother.
Martha apparently was back in Barbados or at least kept her connections there. I also found a baptismal for a child of a John Lenoir and wife, Mary. I failed to copy this one as I couldn't decide if it was a mistake and meant Martha as wife. Or if this is another John Lenoir alive and living there at the same time. Perhaps a son.Since we know John Lenoir's SC will list wife, Martha, and Martha Lenoir was alive in 1728.
