These Spence boys were the sons of Benjamin Spence b ~1824 VA, d ~1863 VA and Catherine Deal (Deel).After their father's death, Catherine remarried a Blankenship and they all moved to West Virginia.James Spence married Hettie Emeline Spence and their daughter, Dulcie Altha, was my grandmother.
