Thank you James for your reply! I had posted another message on the board before I noticed your response. I would greatly appreciate a copy of the Dyonese Haszard book, and would also love a copy of the coat-of-arms that your grandmother has. I recently purchased a copy of the book "Letters of An English Boy," which were the collected letters written home by Richard Byrd Levett, Dyonese Haszard's brother, during the First World War. Levett was later killed in that conflict and his letters published posthumously. The Levett crest of the lion rampant holding the cross-croslett fitchee is printed at the front of the volume. As I indicated to you, I am the historian of the National Association of Leavitt Families. The web site of the Association is http://www.leavittfamily-nalf.orghttp://www.leavittfamily-nalf.org . I'm sorry that you're having trouble sending mail to my AOL address. Please drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can correspond further. Thank you again for replying and I look forward to hearing from you!
