I'd still like to hear from other researchers studying the LEWIS families living in Liverpool, England, during 1800's.
I started posting about my great-grandfather's family about 10 yrs. ago.I received information in 2004, and now have better information after 2010.My line starts with Richard LEWIS, b1803 Shropshire, England, and goes down to one of his sons, John LEWIS, and his grandson, John "Stanley" LEWIS, b1859 Liverpool."Stanley," my great-grandfather, migrated to Canada as a "Child Migrant" in 1874.He married in Nova Scotia in 1879, and migrated to MA/USin 1881.Stanley and Mary (CORKILL) LEWIS raised their 13 children in Stoneham, MA.
I have made connections to one other descendant of Richard and Elizabeth (TROUGHTON) LEWIS, who had 2 daughters then 5 sons after their marriage in Liverpool in 1825.I'd like to find more descendants.
