Mary Frances Light, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Randolph Light of Roanoke, VA was married on September 24, to Robert Asher Dusenbury, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Abram Dusenbury III of Atlanta. The Reverend John D. Burley performed the outdoor ceremony by Hobcaw Creek at the Creek Club at I' On in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Mary is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Chinnis Light and the late Mr. Samuel Jackson Light of Roanoke and the late Mr. and Mrs. Craig Gilpen Koelle of Bryn Mar, PA. Rob is the grandson of Mrs. Jane Dusenbury Culberson of Tyron, NC and the late Mr. George Abram Dusenbury II and Mr. Eric Morris James of Prescott, AZ and the late Norah Allcock James.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Margaret Elizabeth Light of Los Angeles was maid of honor. Susan Renick Light of Atlanta and Kara Grace Dusenbury of New York City were bridesmaids. Anna Randolph Light and Grace Marie Alice Dusenbury, both of Atlanta, were flower girls. The groom's father was best man. George Abram Dusenbury IV, Eric James Dusenbury and Randolph Jackson Light, all of Atlanta, were groomsmen. Maxwell Henry Dusenbury was the ring bearer, and George Abram Dusenbury V, James Culberson Dusenbury and William Hugh McKinnon Dusenbury, all of Atlanta, were junior attendants.
The bride and groom are graduates of the University of Virginia. Mary is employed as a brand manager for Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines in Napa Valley. Rob, who also earned BS and MS degrees from Georgia Tech, is employed as an environmental engineer for Aqua Terra Consultants in Mountain View CA.
The couple honeymooned in Belize and resides in San Francisco.
