I am a decendant of Almon Guinn and Sarah Lillard.I believe the Lillard book is a little off here.What I have is this:
Almon Guinn was born July 4, 1793 in Virginia, the son of Almond Guinn and Nuraney Mullins.
Sarah Lillard was born July 8, 1798 in Virginia, daughter of John Lillard and Sarah Campbell.
Sarah and Almon married November 30, 1814 in Cocke County Tennessee.
Almon and Sarah moved to Polk County Tennessee by 1836.Almon is listed as a founding member of the Old Ocoee Baptist Church in Polk County and was there when it was founded August 13, 1836.
Almon and Sarah moved to Polk County Arkansas where Almon died in 1856.He is buried in the Ouachita Cemetery in Arkansas as Almond Guinn.Pictures of the gravestone are available online.
In 1860 Sarah appears as as Widow, head of her own household in the Polk County Arkansas Census.

Guinn born Feb 9, 1828 - this is my ancestor who married Cornelia Crawford. 9.Bartholomew C. Guinn born Feb 18, 1830 10.Minnerva Guinn born in 1832 11.James Guinn born in 1834 12.Malinda Guinn born July 14, 1840 13.Susan Guinn born in 1841
