Note:
Came to America in 1735, on Aug 26, landed at Philadelphia, along with his two brothers, John & Lewis Linebarger. The Linebarger family is of Alsatian or Lorraine descent, a mixture of French and German blood, sometimes referred to, at the time the family came to America as Palatines, but of then French nationality.

In the Name of God Amen I Peter Linebarger of Lincoln
County being sick & weak of body but of a Sound and perfect mind
and memory praised be the Almighty God do make and ordain this my
last will and Testament in the manner and form following that is:
first and principal I Commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty
God hoping Through the Master's death and passion and intercession
of my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and
remission oif all my Sins and wickedness in General and attain everlasting
Life and my body I Commit to the Earth to be Decently
buried at the Descretion of me even as I Shall hereafter Name so
First and Chiefly my Soul I commend into the hands of God who gave
itand my body I have Committed to the Earth to be Dissolved and turned
to Dust in sure certain hopes that the general Reserection at the Last
Day it Shall Rise again to a joyful reserection and pertak of my Lord &
Savior in his Eternal kingdom in his Glorified Body and there to live
and Enjoy with him forevermore both in Soul and body.
Now as touching the Disposial of all Such Temperal goods as it hath
pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I do give and Difpose thereof:
First I will that all my Debts and funeral Charges
Should be paid and Discharged.
Item I do give and Bequeth unto my Beloved wife Susannah Linebarger
the house that I now live in and the barn and all the other buildings and
two hundred acres of Land the lower part of the tract that I now live on
Two Sorral Mares and her Saddle three Choyse of Cows & four young
Cattle Two or three years old the best plow and Iron harrow two of the best
Beds and Bed Steads, all th ehogs in the plantation her Choise of the tables
half Dozen Chairs one puter Dish, one large Bason & one Small bason nine
Plates & Nine spoons Two cases of Knives & forks one Big wheel and
flax Wheel one pare of Cotten chards one pair of wool chards
Four Sheep Two MIddle Sise pots and one Iron pan one Small pot the big
Looking glafs the Colt that the Old Sorrel mare is with Colt if it lives
and is to belong to my Son Peters widow to my wife Six tine cups one puter
tea pot all to belong to her that is to her During her Widowhood
and all the Salt that is in house and Shugar and the best horse gears
Item I do give to my son John Linebarger my great coat in full
of his portion
Item I do give unto my Son Michael Linebarger one Hundred & Twenty
Achres of Land the upper portion of the Track that my Son John lives
on in full of his portion.
Item I do give to my Son Fredrick Linebarger Ten Dollars in full of
his portion.
Item I do give unto my Daughter Elizabeth one Bed & furniture
& Two Cows and one Wheel one Set of Knives & forks one Dish
two basons three spoons & thirty Dollars in the Rest of personal Estate
Item I do give to my Son Jacob Hill Linebarger the tract of Land that my wife
has at her Decease to belong to him.
Item I do give unto my son david one Hundred & Seventy Ackers
below my Son Johns on fletcher (?) Creek and part on the Blind branch
& one Mare filley and my saddle in full of his portion
Item I do give unto my Daughter Rebecca Miller Ten Dollars in full of her poition
Item I do give unto my son Daniel Two hundred ackres of Land
the upper part of the Old plantation and one horse Colt with _______
