Johann Jacob Lingenfelter came to America in 1753 in the Rowand. He bought 219 acres of land in Codorus Twp, York Co. Pa and had a residence in Berwich twp of that county, 3-24-1770. He is recorded in St. Jacob's Union (Lutheran) Church, Brodbecks, Codorus twp. York Co. Pa. 11 children were born in York Co. Pa.Johan Jacob was b. 5-5-1724 d. 1807 in York Co.
