Excellent information. I have found that in another place as well, but not so well documented; I am not a descendant myself, but was researching the family for my cousin's wife, who did not know much about her ancestors beyond her grandfather, Captain Harry Hall, who, along with his wife, Clara Bell Hamell moved from Hamilton Co. OH (near Cincinnati)to Tampa, FL in the late 1800's. Ihave traced him and his family in Tampa back to his father Harry Hall in Hamilton Co. OH (near Cincinnati) who moved to Oakland, Alameda Co., CA with his wife, Helen Belle Garrison and two daughters Margaret Lingo Craig and Helen Lingo Hamlin, where they all died. The remaining family member I have not definitely found is Helen's daughter, Helen Hamlin, who could still be alive. Harry Hall's father was Caleb Lingo whose father was Obadiah. I had traced Obadiah back to Delaware and had been looking for his father or any connections when I stopped on this family for awhile and got back to my own. But I am always glad to learn new information and would include it in the notebook I prepared and gave to my cousin last month for her birthday. Her children (young adults) are very interested in genealogy, but are active now with family and careers. Through the internet, I found a young cousin for them in Florida who is also interested and I share all information with them. What is your connection to the family? Please feel free to use my email address; I would be willing to share any of my information and put you in touch with these remaining members of this branch of the family. I found a picture of Eunice Lingo, Harry Hall's sister, on the internet which had been made in 1890 in Cincinnati; that is the only picture I have found so far of the older generations. Do you have any pictures or documents? Many of the documents and records had burned along with the Courthouse in 1896 during the riots there. Look forward to hearing from you.
