There was a Lippert family in Niagara Falls found on the 1880 U.S. Census that partly fits your description.
The head of the household is Anthony Lippert born about 1855 and his wife is Mary Lippert born about 1854. At the time of the census they had two children. The daughter was Lena born about 1877 and a son John about one year old at that time.
It's possible that the son didn't survive and that three additional daughters were born to this couple after that.
You might want to check subsequent census records to confirm this theory.
Anthony may have been related to some other Lipperts who immigrated to the Western New York area from Bavaria in the late 1850's.
