I am looking for information on my g grandfather, JAMES LIPPINCOTT.I am trying to find where he ties into the Lippincott tree. Any information would be greatly appreciated. JAMES LIPPINCOTT (b. 12/1861 in NJ) (d. after 1930 and before 1945 in Lyndhurst NJ, I think) about 1876 married to ELIZABETH C. FLINN (b. 1868 in PA)(d. abt 1946 in Lyndhurst, NJ, I think) They had 3 sons: JAMES HAROLD LIPPINCOTT (b.7/4/1887 in NJ) (d. 1965 Lyndhurst, NJ) CLIFFORD ELLIS LIPPINCOTT (b.7/1893 Philadelphia (d.5/21/1923 in Phoenix AZ of TB) CLIFFORD married EDNA O'HARA (b. 1893 Blissville, NY)(d. abt.1895 in Long Island NY) WILLIAM RAYMOND LIPPINCOTT (or RAYMOND WILLIAM b.1908 in NJ) (d. in his teens of TB, I think). 1900 Fed Census shows James and Elizabeth, and their sons, James and Clifford, living in Shrewsbury Township in NJ with father-in-law, William Flinn.James's occupation is listed as railroad engineer. 1920 Fed Census shows James living with Elizabeth and son, William Raymond, and grandson, John F. Lippincott, in Jersey City, NJ. 1930 census shows James and Elizabeth and their grandson John F.Lippincott, living in Lyndhurst NJ with son James and his children. 1880 Fed Census shows Elizabeth Flinn (age 15) living with her family in Manchester NJ.She married James when she was 16. 1880 Fed Census shows a John Lippincott (age 70) living with his son James (age 20) in Manchester NJ but I cannot say for certain that this James is the same.
