Regarding Francis and Rosalie Lique.Just found their names on the marriage certificate of Margaret Paul and Michael Lique in Sudbury Vermont this summer.Another Lique researcher has Samuel Lique in their place so there is some confusion.
The Lique's came from Canada shortly before 1860.What their name was in Canada no one has discovered for sure as yet. There are 5 now working on it.I will try to fill you in on the up-to-date stuff.
Earl's parent's , especially grandparents followed the woolen mills through Vermont, New Hampshire and Mass. for their employment.
Eva Marion Coutermarsh, Earls mother.I have traced her family back to 1604 in France.I correspondwith Jean Pierre Courtemanche(this was what the name was before they Americanized it) in Montreal. He helped me establish the connection.
