Hi everyone. Just to let everyone know, the DNA project is going very well ! This is a world wide project, so any male Lock(e) can participate.
13 Lock(e) men have participated to date and more tests will be ordered in the very near future.
We now have enough tests results in to be able to start breaking some of the participants up into Groups.
We are always actively seeking new participants. The goals are to find out how many distinct Lock(e) lines there are in the world and how many are related to each other, regardless if there is a paper trail or not.
To date, there are 7 possibly 8 distinct lines, each line apparently have no kinship to each other. That number will no doubt go up as more participate. I say possibly 8 distinct lines because there are 2 participants from different lines who do have a 11/12 match. Upgrading the tests will show if they continue to have a close match.
