MARJORIE WALKER LOESCH
MARJORIE WALKER LOESCH (PEGGY) passed away on the 18th of January, 2008. She was born MARJORIE WALKER HILEN on the 19th of October 1918 in Mt. Vernon, WA. To ANDREW and DORA HILEN. The youngest of three children she was preceded in death by her older brother and sister, ANDREW and MARY. Raised in Seattle she graduated from Garfield High School in 1936 as senior class president. She attended Scripps College and graduated in 1940 with a Bachelor of Arts. While working on a graduate degree back East she met and married RICHARDS LLEWELLYN LOESCH (DIX) in Washington D.C. in 1944. They settled in Seattle in 1951 where they raised two sons JAMES and ANDREW. PEGGY was active with many charities and social organizations and was especially dedicated and fond of her work on the Children's Orthopedic Hospital Board. She was generous and gracious always looking for the good in everyone. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband and survived by her two sons. Remembrances may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation.
