Sarah Elisabeth Winterhalter married F.P. Lofture in Audrain County, MO, on 10 December 1878. Source: Audrain County Marriage Book B, B-349 marriage listing filed 28 December 1878.
Sarah Elisabeth showed up in the 1900 Stillwater, Payne Co., OK census as married in circa 1884 to Charles A. Hall. Sarah is listed in the 1900 OK census as age 44, born March 1856, MO, married 16 years, and a daughter, Maude Loftice.
I believe Maude Loftice is the daughter from the F.P. Lofture - Sarah E. Winterhalter marriage.
I would like to find the full name of F.P. Lofture (Loftice/Lofton/Loftin). My only clue is that his daughter, Maude Loftice, in the 1900 OK census, lists being born in August 1879 in MO, and her father was born in Germany.
Sarah Elisabeth last showed in 1910 OK census. Her second husband, Charles A. Hall, died in 1905. Not sure what happened to her, I am unable to find a 3rd marriage record or death record.
Maude Loftice/Lofture did not show in the 1910 OK Census, must have married and left the area.
Any additional information from the Loftis/Lofture/Loftice family researcher's notes, obituaries, family lore, etc would be greatly appreciated.
