Sorry about the delay in responding to your posting haven't had the time to alot of research lately just the post the other day. Thanks for taking the time to look up the names for me I greatly appreciate that. Was it a census for 1871? Where did you get the info from?
I don't know if the info is quite correct or not. Where abouts is Oveden Yorkshire is it anywhere near Leeds Yorkshire? The one I am looking for was from Leeds Yorkshire England she married John Phillip Courtney he was from Ireland Country Armagh born 1857 they were married around somewhere between 1870's-1890's they had two daughters.
Was able to get her death registration certificate from the British Columbia Archives a few months ago showed that she was from Leeds got that confirmed from the family tree, also showed that her parents were George Scott and Eliza Longbottom. Would you be able to recheck that again through those census'for 1871 or any other that may show her parents and any siblings. Don't for sure or not if she had any brothers or sisters when and where born do know that she went to Canada lived in Edmonton Alberta. John passed at 34 in Edmonton around 1934 family moved from there 1936 to Vancouver Elizabeth passed in Vancouver in her late 30's 1937. Did it say what Nancy's maiden name?
I didn't know that Nancy could be another name Eliza/ Elizabeth knew that Eliza was short for Elizabeth will keep that in mind thanks for that I would greatly appreciate it. Will check that registration and the family tree again to be absolutly correct and will repost again. Thanks for the help I greatly appreciate it and if there is anything more that can be done.
