I am looking for some help wrt the Yorkshire origins of my 3rd great-grandparents, Mary Wright and Charles Longbottom. I've done census and vital stats digging at the Ontario provincial archives. It appears that they werefrom Yorkshire, but left England between 1848 - 1852. Charles and Mary, along with many of their children (listed below), were interred at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto, Ontario.
An IGI search shows that my 3rd great-grandfather, Charles, MAY have been christened in Nafferton, the son of Charles Longbottoms and Elizabeth Braithewaite, with these siblings : George, Thomas Braithwaite, Mosby and Samuel.
Anyone researching similar ?
