Death Takes Mrs. Longest
Lexington,Missouri woman succumbs at noon after illness of six weeks.
Mrs. Jo Ann Longest, 80 years of age, died here at noon today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. H. L. Bray after being ill for six weeks.
Mrs. Longest was the daughter of James O. and Euphemia Slusher Hogan and was born on March 6, 1860 Lexington.
She was married on June 26, 1880 near Higgensville to John R. Longest who preceded her in death at Bessie, OK. on June 16, 1916.
Besides Mrs. Bray, Mrs. Longest is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Jesse Adams of Hawesville, KY., and Mrs. Paul McCormick of Durango, CO.; a brother James Hogan of Clinton, OK; a sister Mrs. J.B. Boone of Coolidge, AZ; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral services will be conducted by the Reverend John M. Lindsay at 3:30 Sunday afternoon at the Winkler chapel.
