Gilbert Losee (May 4 1883, NYC - Jan 28, 1956, Queens, NY), was son of Rev. Thomas Gilbert Losee (March 3, 1861, NY - June 17, 1920, White Plains, NY), who was the son of a Thomas P. Losee (B. circa 1831-32, NY - prob. diedJune 27, 1867).Thomas P. Losee was listed as a stonemason in the IL 1860 Census, along with his wife and her father. His death date came from info provided by his widow when she remarried in the 1870's. I've no idea why they went to Illinois, since all of them were New Yorkers before and after that time. And I've seen no Civil War info on him, either.Any info on where Thomas P. Losee fits in - who were his parents, etc. would be greatly aprpeciated.Help!
