In the catalog of Christie's (New York) auction number 7936, which took place on 10 & 11 June 1994, there is an excellent watercolor portrait (number 433 of the auction) of Edward Loss who was probably born in 1848 or 1849, for he appears to be about 2 years old in this portrait that is dated 1850. No other family information about Edward is given (nor do I know any).
The portrait is attributed to "the Reading artist," which might mean Reading, Pennsylvania.
I have scanned this portrait in case any of Edward's descendants might like a copy. Someone in the Loss family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the family.

If it were a portrait of a member of the Pease family, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me.
