I've taken a long time to reply--sorry. My info comes from a record written up by my father's uncle, Theodore Willis, who died in the 1970s.The records I have show Willises in Tolland, CT as follows:
Joshua Willis, (descended from of Samuel, George, and Richard) born 1646 in Windsor, CT, died in Windsor in 1721.Married in Tolland to Azubah Lamson 1667.Two children:Joshua and Hezekiah.
Joshua, 1672-1741/41, born and died in Windsor, CT, married Elizabeth Skinner 1692.One child, Joshua.
Joshua, born 1701 in Windsor, died in Tolland.Married Millicent Yeomans in Tolland, 1729.Children:Soloman, Azariah, Elizabeth, Millicent.
Soloman, 1731-1840, born and died in Tolland, married Elizabeth Lathrop in Tolland in 1763.Children:Roxalana, Nancy, Elizabeth, Millicent, Azariah, Solomon, Woreham.
My daughter moved to Tolland in 2004, and her brother, who had some of the family records, told her that her ancestors had lived there. So she did some checking and found quite a bit of info about the earlier Willises, George being a colonial governor of CT and one of the Joshuas serving with distinction in the Revolution.I haven't looked at any official documents, however.
