There's a Robert Louden in Shelby Co. as early 1795. He's listed as taxed on 266 acres on Drennon Lick Creek. From the acreage and location I would hazard a guess that he bought the land from Benjamin Sebastian. This area would later become Henry Co.There was also a Thomas Louden that year who was taxed on 1 horse and 7 cattle but no land. I'm guessing he probably lived on Robert's land. Then there's a John Louden who appeared in 1797 and another John Louden who's listed for the first time in 1799. With the formation of Henry Co. in 1800 all of these Loudens appear on the Henry Co. tax list. Robert, Thomas, John Sr. and John Jr.
